2026 Summer Transfer Guide for Scottish League Two
Annan Athletic
Annan have bolstered their defence with a quintet of new signings, including defender Aaron Muirhead from Arbroath and Brannan McDermott coming in from Glenafton Athletic. The club also added attacking options with Cammy Cooper from Airdrieonians and Ally Roy joining from Dumbarton.
Loan keeper Sam Murdoch arrived from Greenock Morton, while departures see Myles Gaffney leave for East Fife on a permanent deal after a loan spell. Annan also said goodbye to former loanee Timam Scott and his teammates Josiah Sowa and Darryl Carrick, who moved back to Queen’s Park.
Clyde
Clyde snapped up midfielder Jamie Bradley from Queen’s Park and brought in Timam Scott to reinforce the forward line. Nathan Cannon completed a permanent move from Forfar Athletic, and Lewis Lovering joined from Troon to add midfield depth.
Goalkeeper Jay Hogarth was originally on loan from Falkirk but is now part of the permanent squad. Outgoing moves include experienced midfielders Mouhamed Niang and Liam Scullion, plus defenders Ross Lyon and Shay Nevans, who have all been released.
Dumbarton
Dumbartonβs overhauled back line with the arrival of Connor Campbell from Rangers and the return of Tommy Robson from Clyde. Midfielders Scott Tomlinson and David Craig both came from Ayr United, while forward Deryn Lang joined from Stranraer.
Loaned keeper Aidan Rice returns to Celtic, and midfielders Scott Tomlinson and Alexander Smith head back to Ayr United and Rangers respectively. Departures also feature defender Mark Durnan moving to Johnstone Burgh and goalkeeper Brett Long following suit.
Edinburgh City
Edinburgh City strengthened their ranks with midfielder Ricky Waugh from Queen’s Park and added defender Jordan McGregor from East Kilbride. Forward Tommy North and midfielder Stanley Wilson arrived on loan from Heart of Midlothian, while new signings include Shea Dowie from Gala Fairydean Rovers.

Elgin City
Elgin made a striking signing with Keiron Willox arriving from Stoke City and forward Oliver Colloty completing a permanent move from Peterhead. Defender Evan Towler joined from Montrose, and goalkeeper Joe Morrison came in from East Kilbride.
The club also hosted loan spells for Aaron Cummings and Bradley Chikomo from Aberdeen, while goalkeeper Dylan Ross and midfielders Alisdair Spalding and Robbie Thompson returned to their parent clubs. Notable exits include manager Allan Hale, forward Josh Walker to Alloa Athletic, and several loanees heading back to their original sides.
Forfar Athletic
Forfar beefed up their back line with defender Adam Livingstone from Dumbarton and added midfield options in Aaron Arnott from Kelty Hearts and Adam Brown from Stirling Albion. Goalkeeper Neil Stafford arrived on loan from Hamilton Academical.
Departures feature defender Stuart Morrison moving to Arbroath on a permanent basis, while Nathan Cannon completes his move to Clyde. Loan spells end for a handful of players, including goalkeeper Mason Munn returning to Rangers and forward Cormac Christie heading back to the Glasgow club.
Kelty Hearts
Kelty Hearts bring in goalkeeper Jamie Smith from Livingston and snapped up defender Gordon Walker from Dumbarton to shore up the back four. Midfielder Connor McManus joined from East Fife, and forward Finn Moffett came in from University of Stirling.

Stranraer
Stranraer secured two forward pledges with Dean Clelland arriving from Hibernian on a permanent deal and Dom Plank joining from Heart of Midlothian, also on a permanent basis. Midfielder Archie Traynor comes on loan from Kilmarnock, and new signings include Murray Binnie from St Johnstone and Lewis Dobbie from East Kilbride.
