Top Returning Wide Receivers in District 10

Why Wide Receivers Are Gaining Momentum

High schools across District 10 are building potent passing attacks, fueling a surge of standout numbers from their receivers. As more teams lean on the air game, wide receivers are becoming some of the most impactful players on the field. Several marquee options graduated in the spring, but a talented group returns to carry the torch this fall.

Five Standout Receivers to Watch

Here are the returning players who are set to make waves in the upcoming season. Each brings a unique blend of skill, experience, and breakout promise.

  • Justin Schell, Greenville โ€“ Schell already boasts an allโ€‘time receiving line in District 10. As a junior he collected 53 catches for 1,012 yards and 15 touchdowns, and he is primed for a massive senior campaign.
  • Jadon Kingโ€‘Vincent, Farrell โ€“ Kingโ€‘Vincent earned a spotlight role for the Steelers last fall, contributing on offense and special teams. He finished with 28 receptions for 262 yards and three touchdowns.
  • Jadon Phillips, Hickory โ€“ After missing most of his junior season to injury, Phillips is looking to bounce back. He posted 15 catches for 227 yards and two touchdowns in just four games and recently committed to Kent State.
  • Cyleim Smith, Sharon โ€“ The Tigers lost several seniors, but Smith brings speed and the upside to become the primary target. He recorded seven receptions for 68 yards last fall and aims for a larger role this year.
  • Wyatt Luke, Conneaut โ€“ Luke enjoyed a breakout junior season as a playmaker for the Eagles. He closed out the year with 18 catches for 205 yards and three touchdowns across nine contests.
