Bergen Reilly and Andi Jackson Appear at Big Ten Media Day

Nebraska Sets Up Its Senior Voices

The Big Ten Conference released the roster of athletes slated to attend the fifth annual Big Ten Volleyball Media Day. Two seniors—Bergen Reilly and Andi Jackson—will represent Nebraska and will be joined by head coach Dani Busboom Kelly. The event is scheduled for August 3 at the Big Ten Network Studios and will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network. A detailed schedule will be issued by the conference at a later date.

Reilly’s Record‑Setting Junior Campaign

Reilly capped her junior season with a sweep of major honors, earning First‑Team All‑American recognition, the AVCA Setter of the Year award, the Big Ten Player of the Year title, and a third Big Ten Setter of the Year honor. She becomes just the second Husker ever to capture the conference’s Player of the Year award and the second player in Big Ten history to be named Setter of the Year three times. On the courts, she averaged strong(10.47 assists per set), strong(2.70 digs per set), 73 kills, 67 blocks, and 19 aces while guiding the Huskers to a school‑record strong(.351) hitting percentage and nine matches where she posted a .400+ clip.

Jackson’s Breakout Season

Jackson also turned heads in her junior year, taking home the AVCA Middle Blocker of the Year award and back‑to‑back First‑Team All‑America selections. She led the nation with a strong(.467) hitting percentage—currently the third‑best single‑season mark in program history. Her stats included strong(2.74 kills per set) and a conference‑only hitting rate of strong(.559), setting a new Big Ten record.
