Toms River Little League captured its second consecutive state championship with a 9‑3 victory over Waterford. The win completed an undefeated three‑game run in the state bracket, where the squad outscored opponents 20‑3. Eight of the 12 players return, looking to push deeper into the regional tournament after finishing third last summer.
