Bayern Start 2026/27 Pre‑Season Under Kompany
New Coach, Returning Stars
Vincent Kompany took charge of FC Bayern’s pre‑season drills today, marking his first full preparation for the 2026/27 campaign. Players such as Sven Ulreich, Tom Bischof, João Palhinha, Bryan Zaragoza, Sacha Boey and Arijon Ibrahimović are already on hand for the initial sessions. Meanwhile, Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl, David Santos Daiber and Cassiano Kiala will continue a gradual rehab reintegration later in the week.
World Cup Stars Phase Back Into Training
The majority of the World Cup‑qualified players will complete performance diagnostics on 27 and 28 July before heading individually to the Tegernsee training camp. Key internationals like Luis Díaz, Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanišić will join the squad ahead of the Audi Summer Tour to Jeju and Hong Kong, set to depart on 1 August. Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano will link up after their Asian commitments, as will Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies, Ismael Saibari, Gnabry and Karl, who train in Munich.
Tegernsee Camp and Friendlies
From 27 to 30 July the team will base itself at the Tegernsee, holding daily open sessions at 15:30 CEST. On 30 July a friendly against FC Rottach‑Egern will be played, streamed freely on FC Bayern’s official channels. Those matches give fans a chance to see the new-look squad practice and the coach’s early tactics.
Summer Tour Schedule
The Audi Summer Tour includes a stop in Jeju followed by Hong Kong, providing the team with high‑intensity opposition and exposure to new markets. The departure on 1 August means the squad will be fresh from the camp and ready for the opening fixtures of the new season. This tour is a key part of FC Bayern’s preparation for the upcoming league campaign.
