Jaguars Who Earned Votes

Despite the talent pool in Jacksonville, none of the Jags landed a spot in the top‑10 at their respective positions. Eight players did receive votes, however. Defensive end Josh Hines‑Allen, cornerback Travis Hunter, safety Antonio Johnson, quarterback Trevor Lawrence, linebacker Foye Oluokun, tight end Brenton Strange, wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., and defensive end Travon Walker all appeared on the poll.

What Scouts and Coaches Said

An NFC scout described Hines‑Allen as “Not elite but consistently very good, with a quality power‑rush game.” A veteran AFC offensive coach weighed in on Lawrence, noting, “He has controlled his turnovers and just has a better understanding of what defenses are trying to do against him. … He plays better ball when the offensive infrastructure and personnel around him set him up for success instead of asking him to do everything on your own. Liam [Coen] did a nice job in Year 1 of giving him the answers to the test pre‑snap.”

Implications for the Jaguars

The lack of top‑10 representation underscores the challenges Jacksonville faces when competing for elite talent. With several players receiving votes but not cracking the elite tier, there is a clear pathway for improvement if the team can address roster gaps and develop the underlying infrastructure that the AFC coach highlighted.
