2026 WNBA All-Star Game Returns to Chicago

Game Date and Venue

The 2026 WNBA All‑Star Game is slated for Saturday, July 25 at the United Center. Chicago will host the weekend festivities for the second time, but this marks the first appearance of the main game at the United Center. The venue can accommodate over 23,000 fans, more than double the capacity of Wintrust Arena where the 2022 game was held. The league will also hold media sessions and practice sessions at the newly opened Obama Presidential Center.

Full Weekend Schedule

Thursday, July 23 kicks off All‑Star Weekend with WNBA Live, a fan festival staged at McCormick Place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET. On Friday, the festival continues from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., followed by Skills Night at Wintrust Arena at 6 p.m., featuring the Shooting Stars and the 3‑point contest. Saturday, July 25 repeats the fan festival from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the All‑Star Game tips off at 6:30 p.m. inside the United Center.

Among the top talent expected to headline the event are Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart and A’ja Wilson, plus many other notable players. The league is also celebrating its 30th anniversary, adding extra fanfare to the weekend. Fans can anticipate high‑octane play and show‑stopping moments as the stars converge on the Windy City.

Roster Details

Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon serve as honorary general managers, tasked with building the two all‑star teams. Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers, the top two vote‑getters, were placed on opposite squads after a coin toss, and each manager then filled their roster through a draft. Team Teresa Weatherspoon’s starters include A’ja Wilson (Las Vegas), Olivia Miles (Minnesota) and Aliyah Boston (Indiana). Prize Money and Awards
