Aberdeen Sell Striker Marko Lazetic to Armenian Club Noah
Transfer Details
Aberdeen have reached an agreement to transfer Marko Lazetic to Armenian Premier League runners‑up Noah. The 22‑year‑old Serb was sold for an undisclosed fee after a brief stint at Pittodrie. He joined the Dons from AC Milan last summer, scoring four times in 36 appearances (14 starts, 22 substitute outings). Manager Stephen Robinson confirmed the move, noting that Lazetic no longer fit his plans for the upcoming season.
Lazetic’s Career Background
Originally from Belgrade, Lazetic honed his skills in Red Star’s youth ranks before moving to AC Milan in 2022. He later spent loan spells with Rheindorf Altach, Fortuna Sittard and Serbian club TSC, returning to Scotland with Aberdeen. During his time at Pittodrie he featured regularly, netting four goals across all competitions. Despite a contract running until summer 2029, he was not retained by Robinson for the new campaign.
Noah’s Outlook
FC Noah finished the domestic season as league runners‑up, finishing behind Ararat‑Armenia, and lifted the national cup. The Armenian side is eager to secure its first league title in 2025 and will face Zimbru Chișinau of Moldova in the Conference League second qualifying round later this month. Lazetic joins a squad looking to bolster its attacking options for European competition.
