Tyndall’s Michael Branaugh posted a 1‑under 71 to claim the South Dakota Golf Association Junior Tour boys championship at Central Valley Golf Course on Tuesday, July 14 in Hartford, S.D. The Bon Homme High School junior finished two strokes ahead of Brandon’s Lincoln McInerney and Cooper Shuman. Branaugh mixed four birdies with three bogeys during his round and held par on his final three holes to secure the win. His performance highlighted a strong showing for the region’s top youth golfers.

In the 16‑18 boys division, Parker Rauscher of Mitchell tied for 15th after carding an 82. Meanwhile, Dresyn Bolden from Howard placed fifth in the 14‑15 boys group with an 83. The 14‑15 title went to Brandon’s Teddy Krivarchka, who posted a 75 to edge out the field.
