According to a report in Corriere della Sera, cited by Sport Witness, Chelsea have opened talks with Roma over Kone’s services. The London side are already negotiating a possible deal for Alejandro Garnacho, while Diego Moreira’s future and Enzo Fernandez’s potential exit from Stamford Bridge are also part of the dialogue. The suggested price for Kone is a minimum of €50 million, and initial conversations have already taken place. Roma have made it clear that a straight swap involving Garnacho is off the table, indicating each player will be handled independently.

United have kept Kone on their wishlist and have been in contact about a possible transfer, but a firm bid has yet to be lodged.
