2026 Home Run Derby Preview: Participants, Netflix Stream and Winners History

Who Will Battle for the Title?

Eight sluggers have been invited to Citizens Bank Park for Monday’s home run contest. The lineup features Willson Contreras of the Red Sox, Jordan Walker from the Cardinals, and Jac Caglianone joining the Royals. Munetaka Murakami, a White Sox infielder‑outfielder, is also on the roster, along with Ben Rice of the Yankees, Junior Caminero (Rays), Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper both from the Phillies. Those eight will face off in a three‑round showdown with no time limit.

Format and Swing Limits

This year’s rules eliminate the traditional clock, giving contestants a set number of swings per round. The first round will consist of 20 swings, while rounds two and three each require 15 swings. The top four performers from round one move on to the semifinals, then the final round decides the champion.

  • Jordan Walker – Cardinals
  • Jac Caglianone – Royals
