Jack Kiser’s 2026 Jaguars Preview
Draft Journey
The Jaguars selected Kiser in the fourth round as the 107th overall pick during the 2025 NFL draft. He arrived wearing No. 54, establishing his jersey number early in his tenure.
2025 Season Snapshot
As a rookie, Kiser made his biggest impact on special teams, posting 191 snaps from weeks 1 through 15 and helping secure four of the six phases. He recorded four total tackles and earned solid grades from PFF despite limited defensive work, appearing in just four games with 43 defensive snaps. A hamstring injury forced him onto injured reserve after the Jaguars’ Week 15 win over the Jets, cutting his season short.
2026 Outlook
Kiser is expected to remain a core specialâteams contributor in his second year, a role the coaching staff seems comfortable preserving. Within the linebacker room he will serve as the primary backup to Foye Oluokun, while Branson Combs and Ventrell Miller compete for the other starting linebacker spot.
What to Watch
Observers will monitor Kiserâs health following last seasonâs hamstring issue and how quickly he can build on his specialâteams reputation. If he stays healthy, his performance in coverage and return duties could determine whether he earns more defensive snaps or stays primarily on kicking units.
