Milan’s 26-man squad spotlights teenagers ready to impress

Coach Ruben Amorim Names 26‑Man Milan Squad for Pre‑Season

Squad Overview

Coach Ruben Amorim has assembled a 26‑player group for the opening stage of Milan’s pre‑season training. The Rossoneri will gather at Milanello on Monday, July 13, where the new tactician’s work officially begins. The list is a mix of seasoned veterans and promising youngsters, all eager to prove themselves ahead of the season.

Key Arrivals

Mario Gila is immediately integrated into the squad after completing his transfer from Lazio. The Italian defender joins 18‑year‑old winger Aurelien Guernier, who moves from Birmingham City, and 19‑year‑old striker Andrej Kostic. Christian Comotto also returns after representing Italy in the European Under‑19 Championship.

Players Fighting for Their Futures

Loan‑returnees Samuel Chukwueze, Francesco Camarda and Yunus Musah will battle for a place in Amorim’s plans. Veterans such as Mattia Gabbia, Fikayo Tomori and Alessandro Florenzi are also part of the group, alongside numerous other names: Bouyer, Pittarella, P Terracciano, Torriani, Athekame, Bartesaghi, Karaca, Odogu, Pavlovic, F Terracciano, Guernier, Idrissi, Kostic, Nkunku, Ossola and many more. The extensive roster shows the manager’s intent to assess a wide pool of talent.

Departures and Looking Ahead

Kevin Zeroli is not included after a late‑season spell with Juve Stabia in the Serie B promotion play‑offs and is unlikely to remain with the Rossoneri. Gonçalo Ramos stays on vacation following Portugal’s recent World Cup campaign, so he will miss the initial training. Amorim has indicated he will continue evaluating the group before finalising any additional summer signings or releases.
