The South edged the North 24‑17 at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh on July 18. A 24‑yard touchdown run by Vidal Spivey gave the South the lead, and Brady Melum’s extra point left just four seconds on the clock. The South finished with 266 yards of offense while the North piled up 307 yards but could not close the gap.
Joey Passaglia anchored the South attack, completing 13 of 22 passes for 102 yards and a scoring strike. Jackson BeBow and Tyler Deer each hauled in five receptions for 38 yards; BeBow’s 12‑yard catch from Passaglia dipped the ball in the end zone. Vinny Inga led the North ground game with nine carries for 36 yards, while Bryce Ott threw for 103 yards on 9 of 16 attempts.
On defense, Aziz Ashour recorded four total tackles for the South, and Amillione Johnson added three stops plus an interception. The North answered with Brady Stammer’s five tackles and Jonathan Ananiadis’s pick.
Small Schools Showdown
In the Small Schools contest the North rolled to a 41‑0 victory. Carson Roemhild directed the offense, completing 7 of 8 passes for 108 yards and three touchdowns. Logan Prall contributed three catches for 32 yards, including 6‑ and 16‑yard TDs from Roemhild and Brett Paulsen.
Paulsen also broke off a 9‑yard touchdown run and added 23 yards on two carries. Justin Bergmann paced the North rushing with 39 yards on five carries. Gannon Bagstad threw three passes for 45 yards for the South, while Taylor Williams caught three balls for 18 yards.
Defensive standouts included Waylon Hargrove’s eight tackles and a sack, and Daniel Buntin’s four stops, a sack, and a fumble recovery. Connor Kilgore’s 35‑yard interception return for a touchdown gave the North a 27‑0 cushion before halftime.
8‑Player Battle
The 8‑Player game tilted in favor of the South, 22‑18, after a fourth‑quarter rally. Logan Schuh’s 1‑yard plunge and Bryce Schultz’s two‑point conversion lifted the South with 6:19 left. Schuh added 35 yards on ten carries and completed two of six passes for 35 yards, hooking up with Kaden Washa for a 15‑yard touchdown.
Kaden Washa totaled two receptions for 35 yards, while Cole Schley dominated the North ground attack with 19 carries for 129 yards and a TD. Dawson Moulton added 15 carries for 116 yards and another scoring run.
Defensively, Cullen Jacobus recorded 15 tackles, six solo, and Gavin Tamling contributed nine stops, four solo. Elijah Stepp led the North with eight tackles, three solo.
