Ticket Sale Kicks Off

Tickets for the upcoming season go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. MDT, giving fans a clear window to secure seats for the debut campaign.

Season Opener vs. Chicago Blackhawks

The Mammoth open the 2026‑27 campaign on Oct. 1, facing the Chicago Blackhawks at the Delta Center. This marks the third game of the regular season and echoes Utah’s franchise‑opening win over the same opponent on Oct. 8, 2024.

Unlike the New York Islanders’ 2021‑22 road‑trip hindrance, the renovation‑stoked schedule does not force an extended opening trip for Utah. The Blackhawks will be missing star winger Connor Bedard, who is sidelined until November after shoulder surgery, and he has recorded a goal and four points in four career meetings with the Mammoth.

Ian Cole will make his debut against Utah, becoming just one of two players—along with Nick Schmaltz—to have appeared in all 164 games of the franchise’s history.

Early Road Tour (Oct. 3‑10)

After the home opener, the Mammoth embark on a six‑game Eastern Conference swing from Oct. 3 to Oct. 10. The trip begins in Columbus, then rolls through New York, New Jersey, Boston and Buffalo on a one‑day‑on, one‑day‑off rhythm.

Notably, the schedule omits a New York Islanders match, meaning former captain Anders Lee will not see UBS Arena until a Dec. 15 visit.

New Year’s Eve Winter Classic

Dec. 31 brings an outdoor showcase as the Mammoth host the Colorado Avalanche at Rice‑Eccles Stadium. The Winter Classic starts at 4 p.m. MST and will be paired with a concert at the Delta Center.

Vegas Golden Knights Rivalry Resumes

November 11 marks the first meeting with the Golden Knights since their playoff series, as the Mammoth travel to “The Fortress.” Additional contests are slated for Dec. 3 in Las Vegas and April 3 back in Utah.

Former Mammoth Players Return

The first former Utah player to face the Mammoth after leaving is Vítěk Vaněček, who will appear with the New York Islanders on Dec. 15.

When Stars Hit the Friendly Confines

Stars continue to rotate through Salt Lake City each season. The defending Stanley Cup champions, the Carolina Hurricanes, visit the Delta Center on Dec. 17.
